Cape Sands Inn

We were there in December, not a peak time but I'll admit I was really disappointed the indoor hot-tub and pool were closed. I really wanted a hot tub. So if that's important to you call first!! Aside from that, the room was very nice!! Wonderfully ample and super fluffy pillows. It's nicely kept. Outside our room was a cute porch and beautifully maintained courtyard with a firepit/burn barrel, several BBQ grills and etc. Really cute. I could easily see someone renting out the wing with family in the warmer months.

We found this place and got excited we found something affordable on Cape Cod for our honeymoon! This place was an adorable place with lots of character. It's a older and has been renovated and maintained. Very clean. The shower had the perfect water pressure. Behind each building, they have wonderful fire pits for folks to enjoy. The outside pool keeps music going, not obnoxious, until quiet time at night. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather outside your room and have some background music. Only thing we did not like is there wasn't a microwave in the room, but in the common room where the ice was. There was, however, a fridge in the room. I have recommended this place to 3 people since I've left. I will continue to recommend it anytime I hear someone wanting to visit the area!

Great value, clean everything, comfortable beds, pool & hot tub were great. I booked myself 3 nights here in October for a brief getaway - the main attractions for me were the heated pool and hot tub which were on the older side but well maintained. It seems like they have some problems with moisture & humidity throughout the hotel but that's to be expected given that it's right on the water. The dehumidifier in my room kept things under control. The bathroom did not have an extractor fan and the paint in there was peeling slightly as a result, but nothing too terrible. Room had a mini fridge which was very convenient and there's a microwave available in the common room. The floor was absolutely clean which is important to me since I have to lie on it (on a yoga mat) to do physical therapy exercises. The sole downside is the location - the road is really not safe for walking or cycling so you have to drive everywhere. I did walk across the street for breakfast at the Heavenly Restaurant but crossing the road is sketchy. My only interaction with staff was checking in and out, but they were courteous and professional on both occasions. I will certainly be back next time I stay in the area!

Older but well-maintained room. Plenty of clean towels, just needed to go to the office and ask. Shawn at the front desk is adorable. The owner is on-site and very helpful. The pool was heated nicely and while older the hot tub was great! The dehumidifier in the room was a nice touch. Also appreciated the fridge and coffee maker, with plenty of coffee! The motel was fairly busy but there were no issues as far as noise and rowdiness. We will stay there again next time we go to the Cape!

We had a great stay. The staff was very accommodating with our reservation due to the recent hurricane. The rooms were clean and the staff made it a comfortable experience, making sure we had everything we needed. Good hospitality overall. If we ever come back to Cape Cod we would stay here again! Fair price for a great experience.

From the customer service to the room, everything was just amazing! We booked a room with a bay view and it was just awesome! The woman at the front desk was very polite and had a smile on her face and was so friendly. We were given a sheet that had the wifi password on it along with the pool hours, etc. There were fliers in the lobby that had places to go to and things to see in Cape Cod. The fires out back were very relaxing. There was such a nice breeze coming into the room, was very peaceful. Beds were very comfortable, water pressure for the shower was excellent, room fridge was great. Loved that the indoor pool was heated, and there were towels in the room before the pool along with a microwave and a table area to sit along with an ice machine. Will definitely stay here again.

I didn't know all the rooms have dehumidifiers so there is an issue with moisture. I have allergies related to mold and I found that it affected me while staying. Albeit, the room was comfortable. I had reserved 2 queen size beds with bay view. There is a salt marsh behind hotel which is nice to sit outside and watch wildlife. I would recommend replacing carpeting. It was coming up from the floor near the entrance. Dont know if it was from the moisture in room. It would be nice to have a microwave in room rather than common area.

Weekend stay. Room was spacious, firm beds but comfortable. Room needs some upgrades but overall very nice room. Policy of quiet time at 10 p.m. and everyone abided by it which was very nice. We had view of the bay, enjoyed watching the ducks catch fish. It rained during our stay so we didn't use the pools. Hotel very close to restaurants and shopping. Welcoming and friendly staff. Would stay again!
